Get ready for an unforgettable summer experience in Portugal, full of fun, music and the enchanting world of Broadway! Showtime! Summer Camp is a premium, all-inclusive program. Here, our participants aged 12-17 (inclusive) will explore the world of musical theatre, learn iconic songs, participate in dance routines and develop their acting skills.

The show will be directed by a renowned professional and will feature a team of artists and technicians who will inspire, guide and help you unleash your full potential.

This program is divided into 46 hours of artistic training, 42 hours of active lifestyle activities and 32 hours of free time with your new friends. Fun activities await you, such as stand-up paddleboarding, surfing, hiking, trekking, going to the beach, and much more!

Additionally, the participants, who will be true Stars this week, will have 24/7 supervision from mentors who are passionate about guiding and supporting artists throughout their Broadway journey. Handpicked for their commitment to safety and guidance, our mentors are ultimately responsible for the well-being of each participant.

The programme is held in a complex with extraordinary facilities for the Performing Arts, less than 1 hour away from Porto International Airport. The school is situated in the picturesque village of Branca in Albergaria-a-Velha, peacefully located between two of Portugal’s most beautiful district capitals, Porto, with its enchanting Douro River, and Aveiro, the Venice of Portugal. The school’s facilities include large classrooms, individual practice rooms, combined jazz and audio production studios, an auditorium, a library, a sports hall, swimming pool, athletics track and various indoor and outdoor leisure spaces.

The premium accommodation offers comfort and security to our participants seeking a relaxing retreat after a day full of excitement and activities. Double rooms offer peaceful and modern facilities to accommodate two participants of the same gender, promoting a sense of companionship and shared experiences.

Food

The camp has adopted a healthy food policy ensuring that all meals are carefully selected, prepared and served with the finest and freshest ingredients to provide complete dietary requirements. Portuguese cuisine is one of the most appreciated in the world with a variety of wonderful dishes.

The day begins with a hearty and colorful breakfast, rich in nutrients and vitamins. Lunch and dinner will be an opportunity to get to know the local cuisine, always with a vegetarian dish as an alternative and a service of soup, vegetables, salads, fruits and natural juices with low sugar content.

For those with vegetarian preferences, we offer tasty alternatives, ensuring that all participants enjoy a diverse and rewarding gastronomic experience.

Although bookings are open to all, we have a selective pre-screening process to ensure authentic profiles, ensuring that participants are able to live in a safe, eclectic and responsible environment. Your motivation, your interest in the arts and your ability to interact and follow rules are essential factors. It is important to know:

  • Minimum level of English.
  • You are welcome, with or without artistic training.
  • Passion for the arts and desire to make amazing friends.

As the camp is international, English will be the spoken language, so we ask that all participants have a minimum level of understanding and language skills in English. With or without previous artistic training, everyone is welcome to apply, all you need is a passion for the arts and a willingness to meet new people.
